The Deputy Director of Human Environment of the Environmental Protection Organization of the Republic of Iran called the dedusting of the Kaveh Tikmeh-Dash steel smelting unit a successful approach to reducing pollutants in industrial units.According to the Public Relations of Kaveh Tikmeh-Dash Steel Industries: Iraj Heshmati, Deputy Director of Human Environment of the Environmental Protection Organization of the Republic of Iran, said in the ceremony of operating the dedusting project of the Kaveh Tikmeh-Dash steel smelting unit, referring to the slogan of the Year of the Environment based on the national movement to reduce plastic pollution: Plastic pollution, based on its chemical composition and effects in nature, leaves its destructive effects on the planet for 200 to 300 years. Given the high volume of destruction that these materials have on the environment, special measures have been initiated by the Environmental Protection Organization since last year, and based on this, the approval of the regulation for the prevention of the use of plastic materials and pollutants in industrial and urban units, as well as interaction with the Ministry of Health in order to control and reduce the use of pollutants in the aforementioned units, as well as providing them with a performance report, are among the measures that are being seriously pursued. The Deputy Director of Human Environment of the Environmental Protection Organization of the country continued to point out the valuable decision and action of the management of Kaveh Tikmeh-Dash Steel Company to create a dust collector (dedusting) in the smelting unit and said: Industrial units are among the most important sectors that have a direct impact on the transfer of pollutants to the environment, therefore, measures such as creating a dust collector (dedusting) in industrial units can reduce the level of pollution and the spread of diseases caused by chemical pollutants in humans and animals, in which regard, Kaveh Tikmeh-Dash Steel Industries has provided a valuable example and model among the industrial units of the country. It is worth noting that the dust collector (dedusting) project of the Kaveh Tikmeh-Dash Steel Smelting Unit, with an investment volume of 450 billion rials, was designed by the Academic Jihad of Science and Industry and implemented by engineers and specialists of Kaveh Tikmeh-Dash Steel Industries.
